Hello my name is Catie Ferguson and I would love to tell you a little bit about myself. I am twenty-two years old. I went to Fairborn High School where I focused on general studies and on leaving early so I could go into work earlier. I have always looked up to my aunt, who went to Creative Images in 1992, and she gave me all of her old text books. I studied them and tried to learn as much as I could before I started school. As long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to do people’s hair and make them feel good about themselves. I had the opportunity to go to the career center and start my study in cosmetology but I wanted to wait and focus on my studies and work.
After I graduated, I decided to not rush back into school. A little over a year later, I ran into some students that attended Creative Images, and that’s when I decided to go look into schooling. I went in and talked to admissions and I loved it! I signed up for school that day. So here I am now enrolled in Creative Images, just about to graduate and spread my wings. I love everything about the cosmetology industry, from doing hair to doing nails. I love it all. I am a huge people person and love to have interaction with the clients. I also love the joy and satisfaction you get when you see your clients face light up because they love the color you gave them or because they love the pedicure they just got. These are a few of the many reasons why I chose cosmetology as my career choice.
